What’s happening this year?

Wondering what happens over the three days? Here’s a breakdown.

On this page, you’ll find information on what’s happening this year.  Community action is at the heart of the Noise but it’s also important for us to share some quality time, exchange stories and experiences, worship together, refuel at meal times and have fun.

The Noise Prayer Room is open every year throughout the three days.  This is available to all volunteers or anyone from the community who would like to spend some quiet time seeking, praying or being prayed for.

Below is the timetable of what will be happening and when.

Clothing – wondering what to wear?

Please bear in mind that the majority of projects will involve physical work in gardens, open spaces or painting.  We would recommend that participants wear comfortable clothing and footwear (preferably trainers) which you don’t mind getting dirty.  Wearing track suit bottoms for example rather than shorts is advisable to protect from nettles and brambles.

Bringing extra clothing is also recommended in the event of rain, or if you get cold.

This year we’ll also have 2010 branded t-shirts  in the run and on the day.  You can pick up your t-shirt from the Baptist Church.

Training and Briefing meetings

All primary roles except for Team Angels are expected to attend the briefing session to be given at 7.30 on Wednesday 25th August, unless alternative arrangements have been made with the Noise team (Jeremy, Nic or Dina).
A training session will also be taking place on Saturday 21st August from 1.30-5.30pm for team leaders – in particular young and new leaders.
